By using Votes & Notes, you agree to these terms. We've kept them as readable as possible.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using the Votes & Notes platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, don't use the platform.
2. Description of Service
Votes & Notes is a SaaS platform that helps political campaigns manage fundraising events, generate printable and digital assets (QR codes, table tents, sign-in sheets), and track donations in real time via ActBlue webhook integrations. The platform is intended solely for use by Democratic and progressive political campaigns.
3. User Responsibilities
You are solely responsible for ensuring your use of this platform complies with all applicable federal, state, and local campaign finance laws, including FEC disclosure requirements. Votes & Notes provides tools to support your campaign — we are not a compliance or legal advisor. Consult qualified legal counsel for campaign finance guidance.
4. ActBlue Integration Disclaimer
Votes & Notes integrates with ActBlue via webhook connections. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or a subsidiary of ActBlue Charities or ActBlue Technical Services. All donation processing is handled entirely by ActBlue. You must maintain your own ActBlue account and comply with ActBlue's own terms of service independently.
5. Payment and Cancellation
Paid plans (Campaign at $49/month, Pro at $99/month) are billed monthly. You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you will not be charged again, and no partial refunds are issued for unused time. The free Starter plan has no payment requirements.
6. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, misuse the platform, or engage in fraudulent activity. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your data may be retained for up to 90 days before permanent deletion, unless you request immediate deletion.
7. Limitation of Liability
Votes & Notes is provided "as is." We make no warranties about uptime, data accuracy, or fitness for any particular purpose. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising from your use of the platform is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
8. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Washington, DC, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
